Captain Obvious observation: Connecticut and the surrounding states are expensive to live in compared to the rest of the U.S. But really, how expensive is it!? The National Low Income Housing Coalition put together some data to show how much someone needs to make per hour to afford a 2 bedroom apartment in their state of residency?

Sadly, it also found out that if you’re working minimum wage, you can’t even afford a one bedroom (kinda obvious information there too).

Connecticut came in very high. You need to make about 24 dollars an hour to afford a 2 bedroom home in the nutmeg state.

The highest? D.C. and California.
