Ladies and gentleman, it’s finally back.
You know what I’m talking about — the one and the only pumpkin coffee.
It has officially returned Dunkin’ Donuts yesterday, along with pumpkin flavored lattes, muffins, and donuts. In addition to pumpkin coffee, Dunkin is now offering fall-flavored donuts as well.
This year, Dunkin is adding a new flavor to their fall lineup — Maple Pecan. I have yet to try it, but it sounds like it could very well give the beloved pumpkin coffee some competition.
Wait — we’re already thinking about fall and Labor Day hasn’t even happened yet?
And, Dunkin isn’t the only early birds with pumpkin treats. Panera Bread is now offering pumpkin muffins and muffles — both of which are delicious by the way.
Despite how early it’s coming, let’s just rejoice about the fact that it’s at long last here. After all, pumpkin flavored anything is a huge fall staple here in New England. And, we New Englanders take our pumpkin treats seriously — whether you’re drinking it or eating it.
But, as we all know, Dunkin isn’t the only place to to get your hands on pumpkin coffees and lattes. Starbucks will soon be releasing their own fall lineup, and you betcha that the pumpkin latte — as well as their famous fall themed cups — will be on it. And, Starbucks offers much more delicious goodies than just the latte, including pumpkin Frappucinos and pumpkin bread.
If you’re more a brew your coffee at home kind of person, don’t worry. If you have a Keurig, Green Mountain has K-Cups that you can purchase at your local Bed, Bath and Beyond. However, if you’re the type of person who prefers ground coffee, there’s a ton of delicious options for you as well, such as a bag of pumpkin coffee that you can purchase from World Market.
Oh, fall. You are such a delicious time of year.
If you all need me, I’ll be consuming these delicious treats until the holiday cups arrive.
