As you are no doubt aware by now, when it comes to basketball, Connecticut is the best. This isn’t even up for debate, and I believe we’re totally entitled to brag about it. We’re the only state to ever win the men’s and women’s NCAA championships in the same year – and now we’ve done it twice!

But this is not a post intended to recap the game or to discuss our greatness. Rather, this post is about what we’ve earned as a state, thanks to UConn. We’ve earned not just bragging rights, but something far more important – free coffee from Dunkin Donuts.

Yes – delicious Dunkin Donuts coffee, hot or iced, is coming our way today in a medium size – and for today only to celebrate UConn’s dual victories. And you have to have the Dunkin Donuts app. – but that’s easy enough to get here.

So enjoy your coffee, Connecticut! Your basketball teams earned it for you! (Unless you visit a Dunkin Donuts in Fairfield County – even though there is a UConn campus in Stamford.)

I wish Fairfield County DD’s would get on board with all things Connecticut. National Foster Care & Adoption Months have been celebrated by DD throughout the state, except for FFld county!
