Just a mere two months ago on this very website, I wrote a post about the inability to purchase Yuengling here in the Nutmeg State, even though they had decided to start distributing the beer in Massachusetts.

Now I don’t know if my post had anything to do with it, but, it looks like those of us who love Yuengling (and are sick of driving over the border to pick up a few cases) will finally be getting our wish.

Yuengling is coming to Connecticut.

According to the Connecticut Beer Wholesalers Association:

The Connecticut Beer Wholesalers Association is delighted to welcome the return of D.G. Yuengling & Son to the Connecticut market, hopefully within the year.”

And by “within the year” I most certainly hope that they mean by the 4th of July, because there’s nothing I want more than to celebrate America’s birthday on a hot summer night, while sucking down an ice cold Yuengling (or 11).

Also, now that we’ve got this accomplished I feel like the next goal is getting distribution here in CT for Naional Bohemian (Natty Bo!) and Chicago’s Old Style.
