As A Connecticut Astronaut Makes His Ninth Spacewalk On Earth Day, Let’s Enjoy His Pic Of Connecticut From Space

It is Earth Day today, and I guess Mother Nature got the memo – we may actually reach a high of 72 today (if WFSB is to be believed).

As Waterbury’s Rick Mastracchio embarks on his ninth spacewalk to repair a computer on the International Space Station, and is on his final month of living in space, let’s go back to his Twitter feed @AstroRM to one of his first passes over Connecticut:

Follow him @AstroRM because he posts a lot of cool pictures, directly from space, which is really kinda mind-blowing when you start to think about it – but also, he actually responds to his followers…again – FROM SPACE!!! And he is able to follow what’s going on down on Earth, as he congratulated the UConn Men and Women earlier this month:
