Never in my life would I think there would be a graph such as this. A graph all about “sweater weather” (the internet has ruined us, I swear). But, it is fun to compare and contrast which states are big babies when the temps start to dip below the beloved 70 degrees (I miss you so much, 70 degrees).
Connecticut stacks up pretty well against the rest of the country. We start reaching for our warm pullovers when the temperature is at 58 degrees. You may be wondering how on earth did someone figure out this useless “water cooler” knowledge!? A Survey, of course! Thank You, The Weather Channel.
What state is the most bad ass though with their sweater wearing? South Dakota (not north!). They put on the extra layers at 51 degrees (I have two layers on at this point).
I have to admit though. Connecticut is not that tough when you look at the regional breakdowns. We put on a sweater before any of the other cold regions in the U.S.
