Today is not a good day in Connecticut if you were one of the three incumbent Mayors in Wednesday’s Mayoral primary elections.

In Hartford, challenger Luke Bronin defeated Mayor Pedro Segarra. Bridgeport mayor Bill Finch got beat by former Bridgeport mayor – and notorious Connecticut bad boy – Joe Ganim. Then Democrats in New London selected Micheal Passero over incumbent Mayor Finizio by a landslide.

My favorite part of any election is getting up the morning after and taking in all the newspaper headlines. It’s interesting to see all the papers try to be witty, super cute, or make a statement with their headlines.

Let’s take a look around the state shall we?
