Ah, Connecticut, home of the hamburger. The creator of the world’s most favorite fast food delicacy.
Westfair Online reports that the burger scene just became a little bit bigger this week. Wahlburgers, the acclaimed burger chain, finally opened its first Connecticut location. So, precious fans of the Wahlberg brothers, now’s your chance to feel even closer to your idols.
The store cut the ribbon for its soft opening on Friday at the Westfield Trumbull mall. As for their grand opening, there’s no information about that… yet. But, if you want to know where to find this place, they took over the old Ruby Tuesday’s location. And, yes, they’re open so you can eat as many of their delicious hamburgers as you please.
This also marks the chain’s 19th opening.
The big question is: will this store make a cameo in the famous A&E reality series? Will Donnie and Mark step foot in their new CT location? Also, can the Wahlberg’s compete with our demand for hamburger perfection? Will we provide them the necessary drama to keep their series on air?
I mean, we are the birthplace of the hamburger. So, we totally need to keep tooting our horn. And, not to mention, Connecticut’s not well known for its friendliness, either.
But, taking a peek at their menu, they definitely made sure they had everything to satisfy our picky palates. They even have gluten free bread!
They already won me over. Then again, we collectively spent six years wondering what a Wahlburger tastes like. Now, we finally can learn the truth and taste greatness… or mediocrity.
My gut says no matter what they throw on my plate, I’ll happily scarf it down. Will you give Wahlbugers a try or do you already know where to find your hamburger perfection?
