We’ve had a lot of notable arrests in Connecticut that were ridiculous- but usually these people don’t actually intend on going to jail. That all changes today.
Ruhan Karjohn, a 31-year-old Hartford resident, walked into the Hartford police station and inquired whether there were any warrants for his arrest. He was told no, there were not. At this point it must seem odd that a man would wander into the station and NOT ACTUALLY have any warrants.
Instead of leaving (and being relieved), he then started jerking off in the police department lobby.
I’ll let that sink in for a second.
This random dude started jerking off IN THE POLICE LOBBY.
He announced that he wanted to go to jail and while citizens ran off horrified, he got his wish and was arrested.
He was charged with breach of peace and public indecency.
The only thing I can think is that he knew if he wasn’t in jail at that exact moment he was going to be murdered by someone he owed money to. Otherwise, I can’t imagine why anyone would be this stupid. Gross.
