Depends, you know the diapers for adults company, has apparently launched a new marketing campaign encouraging everyday people to “Drop Your Pants for Underwearness”. They say over 65 million Americans experience bladder leakage, and nearly half of them are under age 50. “But nobody wants to talk about it. Until now.” Wrong. We still don’t want to talk about this.
Of all the problems there are in the world, spreading awareness about a 35-year-old who poops their pants seems pretty low on the list but okay Depends, how do we raise awareness for these poor suckers?
Well, it’s easy – just wear that adult diaper proudly. The next time you take a trip to the grocery store or, hell, even don’t want to take the excruciatingly long walk to the bathroom at work, slap on your Depends, Instagram that shit (not literally) and raise awareness for your Underwearness. Be sure to hashtag #Underwearness and #DropYourPants so you can raise $1 to go to your fellow pooping Americans’ plight.
And as if they haven’t already made peeing your pants as cool as Miles Davis, you can attend their campaign launch party this Wednesday in New York City with…Capital Cities? Yes, apparently the band that had one of the biggest hits of 2013 has already fallen so low they are teaming up with adult diapers and playing the world’s worst no pants party.
Thankfully, they’ve still got their pants on.
