Usually GoDaddy Super Bowl ads consist of some girl in a tiny tank top with huge boobs doing…something. Seeing as GoDaddy is one of the world’s most popular domain buying sites, their theory of “sex sells” clearly works. This year, however, they’ve already had one of their Super Bowl ads pulled because of a huge outcry from fans being really pissed. Was it a nip slip? Something wildly sexist?
No, it was a puppy being tossed from a trunk, returning home and finding out his owner sold him on the internet on a website build by GoDaddy. The ad ran Tuesday morning and immediately sparked a petition on Change.org, which gathered over 40,000 signatures to kill the commercial.
So too offensive? Watch it here.
