By now, you’ve probably seen something somewhere about this “Red Nose Day” – if not, in a nutshell it’s a charitable fundraiser for children in need that’s been done for years in England, and NBC is bringing it to the US for the very first time tonight.
As celebrities start to get ready for tonight’s three hour special, awareness campaigns have been going on with various stars. “Pitch Perfect 2” star Anna Kendrick did this spoof of “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” with Brett Gelman (you probably saw him in the “Mad Men” series finale):
Peter Dinklage made this music video of the “Game of Thrones” musical:
And even “Today” show host Matt Lauer cycled through Connecticut.
This past week, he completed a 225-mile bike ride that began in Boston at Fenway Park, and ended in New York – and he came through Connecticut along the way, with stops in Mystic and New London:
