I always see pictures of people doing stand up paddleboard aka SUP. I’ve always wanted to try, but it looked so difficult, and I’m not the most graceful person. Then I said: “Shut up brain, you can do this”.

I am happy to report, I went to Scoot & Paddle in Milford. It was only $20 for an hour. It was awesome, I didn’t fall or die. And I actually stood up…and paddled.


And even though I didn’t take a lesson, they gave me a quick tutorial before I went in, and it’s not as difficult as it looks. Probably because I went early on a calm day. Plus, I burned a little over 400 calories and I was relaxing most of the time enjoying the sun.
