Don’t Mess With New Haven Pizza
Two New Haven idiots tried to rob a pizza place in New Haven this weekend and were successful until they got greedy.
Did they try to steal the pizza? No, like I said, idiots. They instead robbed the cash register and even owner Erdol Sahin’s own pocket change. But then forced him into his office to get even more. Instead of getting more cash, they got a gun in the face. Sahin somehow managed to grab his own gun he keeps in his office and startled the would-be robbers so much they dropped their gun.
When Sahin figured out it was actually just a pellet rifle he was being threatened with, he chased them out of the shop. He eventually lost them, but they were picked up by the cops anyway. 18-year-old Carmine Watkins and his 17-year-old accomplice were arrested right in front of their house and charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree larceny and conspiracy.
In case you want to go congratulate Erdol Sahin on being awesome, and of course grab a slice, he owns Pizza Heaven II on Blake Street. Sounds heavenly.
