As spread out as Connecticut is, sometimes we forget that our food scene is great. When it’s not all in one “downtown” section of the biggest city in the state, it’s easy to miss. But here in Connecticut, the food isn’t just good, it’s really good. And it’s about to get better for arguably our truest “foodie” city.

In New Haven, food is king. The home of the country’s best pizza. The home of the original burger. The home of diverse and delicious cuisine, hidden gems only locals know of, and high end places to celebrate a special occasion or wow a romantic interest. It’s got it all, and now, somehow, it’s got more because Donut Crazy is coming to town.

According to CT Bites, Connecticut’s craziest donut maker is bringing their incredible creations to New Haven THIS WEEK. When it opens on Thursday at 290 York Street (right near Yale, the Broadway stretch, and the Apple store), it will be the establishment’s fourth location, joining storefronts in Bridgeport, Shelton, and Stratford.

Foodies from Connecticut now have one more reason to flock to New Haven. College students looking to add a sugar rush to their caffeine kick now have one more “study aid.” Hungry locals craving a sweet cap to their savory pizza dinner now have the perfect dessert. Just look at what they all have to look forward to:
