It is true that books about events that could happen in real life are scarier than books with ghouls and ghosts. In Eric C. Anderson’s new novel “OSIRIS” 5,000 Americans are trapped in Baghdad while the U.S. Embassy is under siege by a highly advanced weapon, and it is the job of five people to use their expertise to save them.

Anderson drew on his background as a former member of the U.S. Intelligence Community and his time spent overseas to write this novel, which is the first of three in the upcoming trilogy. The novel is also the fourth book to be published out of Dunn Books.
