Seriously, can LEGO do no wrong? It really seems that way. The LEGO Movie is a legitimate phenomenon. Plus, we have the LEGO Simpsons sets coming out. Everything they touch turns to gold. And now, they’re bringing their magic touch to Connecticut.

LEGO Stores have been around for a while, but we’ve never had any in Connecticut. That all changes in less than a month.

The first of Connecticut’s two LEGO Stores opens at the Danbury Fair Mall, where the big kickoff happens April 4-6. They’re calling it a “master builder” event where families (read: 30 year old adult males) will help to build a lifesize Incredible Hulk out of LEGOs. Amazing.

One month later, we’ll do it all again at the second LEGO Store coming to the Westfarms Mall in West Hartford.

The only question is “why did this take so long?” considering LEGO North America is right here in Enfield! Regardless, I am entirely too old, but am still very excited for this.
