I admit it. I regularly troll YouTube looking for Connecticut based videos. Things that are fun, odd, or just interesting in general. Today though, I’ve come across a gem. Apparently a *Malay family (*see definition at the bottom of the article) is documenting their life via Facebook and YouTube. They admit their life is mundane and boring in nature but welcome you to join them through their posts and videos. This particular video was created to highlight the beauty of our Fall foliage… via highways and odd music. The one thing that is true is that we are at our peak for leaves turning colors- but to set an entire six minute video to odd tantric music while driving along our highways? Well, you can decide if it’s brilliant, ridiculous… or simply mundane.
Oh, and they have over 8,000 subscribers to their YouTube channel. Maybe that’s what people want. Mundane videos. Tomorrow I will make a video documenting giving myself a home pedicure. It’s quite mundane.
(Wikipedia: Malay is a major language of the Austronesian family. It is the national language of Brunei, Malaysia, and Indonesia and it is one of four official languages of Singapore.
