Who’s ready for Thin Mints and Samoas? Well, the wait is finally over because Girl Scout cookies return to CT starting tomorrow!
Stratford Star reports that trucks will deliver hundred upon thousands of delicious Girl Scout cookies. That said, expect tons of cookie booths to open up shop come the weekend.
So, just a friendly reminder who are on a diet. Or, like me, forfeited chocolate for Lent.
The cookie season will last through April, so you have plenty of time to get your fix.
This year, the Girl Scouts will also roll out a new program that allows us to send a slice of home to our troops. The program, Cookies for Heroes, allows customers to buy cookies for our service men and women.
Not only will those cookies go to active service members overseas and here, the Girl Scouts will also deliver them to local heroes. To learn more, click HERE.
The Girl Scouts have been around for 100 years. Since then, the program evolved to empower children and educate parents on healthy self esteem habits.
To commemorate their 100th birthday, the organization released a new cookie last year, honoring the S’more. Like last year, it’s still available and just as delicious.

Also, if that’s not enough for you, you should know Dunkin Donuts joined in on the GS Cookie madness. The chain recently unveiled three new flavors dedicated to the most popular cookies: thin mints, coconut caramel, and the peanut butter cookies.
So, as you load up on groceries tomorrow, support your local troop here and troops overseas. If you can’t find a sale near you, feel free to order several boxes ONLINE.
Don’t forget to load up on some fresh Dunkin’s, too! You know how short the Girl Scout season is, so make the most of it while you can!
