The annual Record Store Day returns for a seventh year this Saturday, and there are at least 14 stores in Connecticut participating. And there’s lots of great stuff coming out, in various LPs and singles, including Aerosmith re-releasing four albums on 12″ vinyl, a limited release of Jay-Z/Linkin Park’s “Collision Course,” re-releases from Connecticut’s own MGMT, some classic stuff from Nirvana, David Bowie, the Doors, and vinyl versions of new albums from HAIM, Chvrches, Bastille, Cage the Elephant, Foals, Kings of Leon, and much, much more.

That’s some of the more normal releases – you also have the more bizarre, including this glow in the dark 30th anniversary release of Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters”:


Oh, and if you love Boston, a re-release of the Standells “Dirty Water.”

And, oddly, Ron Jeremy discussing classical music (seriously!)

But, where can you get all this stuff? Not every location will have every release, so you can try and call ahead, or press your luck by waiting on line early Saturday morning, but these are the stores that are participating in Connecticut this year:
