The DMV is ALWAYS a nightmarish experience. Whether it’s miscommunication what documents to bring, to the hours long wait every single visit, it’s something that the average Connecticut resident dreads.
When news that Gov. Lamont wanted to make the DMV more streamlined by changing some laws, it certainly perked up some ears!
He is proposing having your license renewed every eight years instead of every six, your registration would also be renewed every three years instead of every two.
In addition to this, he wants you to be able to renew your license online.
Lamont is sending these potential changes to be talked about in front of the state legislation, so hopefully a change for the most hated place in Connecticut comes to be.
