It’ll certainly be something special!
CT Post got word from NASA that a rather large asteroid is flying across the night sky tomorrow. It will also be visible to the naked eye because it’ll be moving just fast enough for you to notice.
However, a pair of binoculars wouldn’t hurt.
Sky and Telescope told the Post, “because of its size and proximity, it will be bright enough to spot in a small, backyard telescope and moving fast enough to see in real time.”
It’ll be flying from the direction of the sun and should be bright enough to spot tomorrow.
If you miss it, you have to wait until 2027 to see something that grand again. Happy stargazing!
