I am someone who lives by my routines – I wake up at the same time every day, visit the same bookmarked websites daily to see what’s going on in the world, and I buy my groceries on Sunday for the entire week.

Some people like (or have) to go grocery shopping several times a week. Not me. I plan out what I need and I do it on Sunday – and not because I dislike grocery shopping, it’s simply because going to the grocery store to me feels like such a chore.

I’ve considered having the home delivery from my local supermarket, but you’re limited to what they have at their store and have to use their service. You didn’t have any options.

Until today.

Instacart just started service in Hartford – literally just started; today is day one. You can now have your shopping delivered to you (in as little as an hour!) from places like Big Y, BJ’s, Petco, Costco, PriceRite and even Whole Foods Market!

Someone willing to do a Costco run for me is a complete game changer! Hopefully they bring me back a delicious Costco hot dog while they’re there.

But as we know, most people don’t actually live *in* Hartford – so if you’re from a town on this list, you’re golden:

  • Hartford
  • West Hartford
  • East Hartford
  • Enfield
  • Granby
  • Windsor
  • South Windsor
  • Ellington
  • Rockville
  • Vernon
  • Manchester
  • Bloomfield
  • Avon
  • Glastonbury
  • Rocky Hill
  • New Britain
  • Newington
  • Southington
  • Meriden
  • Bristol
  • Cromwell
  • Middletown
  • and Wallingford
