After all the hype and fanfare of Connecticut finally getting a grocery store that embraces the culture of organic and fresh food… it’s all over.

Barely six months after opening, Fairfield’s bfresh will close its doors for good.  Now where are the foodies gonna churn their own nut butter?

Apparently, it wasn’t there.  At least, that’s what they indicated in a Facebook post.

So, what does this mean?  Is it Connecticut’s fault?  Was it our taxes?  Do we need to shake our fists at Governor Malloy over this?

Or… does this mean that the organic non-GMO craze is finally losing steam?  Hmmm.
