The Jets/Giants Donut Rivalry
Leave it to Dunkin’ Donuts to take one of the hottest rivalries in football and turn it into a food war. Whoever is in charge of marketing at Dunks should be constantly getting bonuses. They are always rolling out wacky fun ideas with their donuts and food. It’s unbelievable.
Now that football season is underway here in the northeast, they have taken advantage in the Southern Connecticut/New York market. As we all know, football fans are split in this region between Giants and Jets fans (and if you go more north in CT, Patriots) What better way to decide who is the superior team than to create custom donuts and see which one sells more. I love this idea so much, and that’s saying a lot coming from a life long Patriots fan. I hate both teams!
Clearly the Giants are owning this New York Dunkin’ Donuts…
Even at the Dunkin’ Donuts in 125th and Lenox, it’s hard out here for a Jets fan. pic.twitter.com/ylexU56bHm

This morning I was at the Dunks in Norwalk right off 95 near exit 16. Both trays were still full. I’m guessing for Jets fans, this was because of that last nights disaster of a game in New England.
I just hope someone at Dunkin’ is closely keeping track of how many donuts are being sold for each team so we can find out who reigns supreme at the end of the season.
