Remember when we reported that the Ghost Town in CT was sold?
Well, the cute town of Johnsonville is back on the market because the buyer backed out (or maybe was spooked out). Now, a man named Dan Sinker doesn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to own this 62-acre village near East Haddam which comes complete with a General Store, school house, waterfall, coverered bridge, a stable and chapel, and tons of great Victorian homes…so he took to Twitter.
The idea is for all these strangers to pool their money together to purchase the town. That seems like it’ll work great.
So last night, that town we tried to buy that one time WENT BACK ON SALE. Be the miracle: https://t.co/mI5yDDUBZ1

Driving across Iowa today and talking about our town. My kid: so can I be the mayor? I need to buy a gavel. — dan sinker (@dansinker) April 3, 2015
According to Business Insider: 108 people signed up, throwing anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000 into the pot. So, if this goes through, will everyone be appointed positions in town based on how much you contributed I’ve always wanted to be the town drunk..how much ya want for that?
If you’re thinking about making this investment, here’s a video on the town:
