Jon Stewart has yet another epic pizza rant

New Haven, Connecticut has the best pizza in the country. This isn’t even open for debate, and that’s not what we’re going to get into today. While we have the claim to having the best, New York City comes to a very close second place. In fact, some may argue that pizza is identifiable more with New York City than it is with Connecticut (that’s okay, because we have hamburgers too!)

Regardless, everyone knows that there’s only one way to eat a slice of pizza – you pick it up by the crust with your hand, fold in half, and eat. And that’s that.

Jon Stewart over the past few years has taken issue with those who don’t eat pizza properly – it began with Donald Trump, it continued with the entire city of Chicago, and now, there’s a new target of Jon Stewart’s rage.

On last night’s “Daily Show,” his new target was the newly elected Mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio. And it is glorious:

majortom85 TweetsByDino That’s your problem. Gino’s East downtown isn’t as good as it used to be. GiordanosPizza is the place to go.

majortom85 TweetsByDino Where are you eating? Should be regular pizza crust, just molded up the side of the pan. Filled with cheese, etc

majortom85 TweetsByDino Depends where you go. Some have diced tomatoes, some use sauce. Sauce is delicious, tomatoes not so much.

JMack1031Vulcan TweetsByDino is it possible to have deep dish without all those tomatoes on top? Purpose?

TweetsByDino majortom85 And the people in New Haven are high if they think they have the best pizza. Not even close to Chicago Style.

TweetsByDino majortom85 I watched it last night. NY pizza is thin pizza, no fork allowed. Chicago Deep dish is better & forks allowed.
