Be sure to tune into the Travel Channel this Sunday at 8 p.m. — you might see a familiar restaurant. Plainville’s J.Timothy’s is expected to appear on Food Paradise.

According to an article on the Hartford Courant entitled J.Timothy’s To Appear On Travel Channel’s Food Paradise, the episode, “Lots of Chuck”  will highlight the country’s “choicest chicken dishes.” The article then went onto say “whether it’s fried to golden perfection, smothered in gravy, stuffed in a taco or topping a mound of crispy fries, chicken is one of the most versatile meats on the planet.”

While it’s currently top secret as to which dish will be featured, the article said that they likely be featuring their dirt wings — their signature dish. Dirt wings, the article says, are known for their unique preparation — they are fried, then sauced and then fried once again.

My mouth is watering just as I’m writing about it.

However, this isn’t the first time J.Timothy’s has made a television appearance. According to the article, the dirt wings have been featured in the Food Network’s Top 5 countdown program on February 2016. Additionally, the dirt wings have also been featured in articles on the websites Buzzfeed and Thrillist.

If you’re interested in trying these wings, you can get them ‘dirt style’ in all of the flavors that they offer, which include original buffalo, honey gold BBQ, Teriyaki, and Sweet Red Chili. And, you can order them for special events you may have coming up. For example, you may be looking for a place to get your wings for the big game. They can do that. According to the website, they will be begin to take orders for Superbowl Sunday starting on January 22.

However, if wings are not your thing, don’t worry. J. Timothy’s has  a ton of options. They include: sandwiches and salads, steaks and mac n’ cheese — just to name a few. And, they even have gluten free options as well.

I don’t know about you all, but I’ll be definitely adding this place to my restaurant bucket list.
