Tomorrow night, Rob Schneider will make his way through Connecticut performing standup at the Ridgefield Playhouse. Everyone knows him from his time as a “Saturday Night Live” cast member, or his films and friendship with Adam Sandler, but when the opportunity was presented to interview him, I immediately accepted because I knew he could answer a question I absolutely had to ask him about – a question that has bugged me for 12 years…

A question about the 2005 motion picture Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.

I am completely unashamed to say that I am way into Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo – it is one of the funniest comedies of all time, and it doesn’t get either the acknowledgment or the praise that it so richly deserves. The second film, on the other hand, is by no one’s definition a great film, but it has a very random connection to Connecticut, that only an eagle-eyed viewer would ever spot – and Rob was able to confirm it for me:

PS – Yes, I know I forgot to say which high school it was in the interview, but it’s Stamford High School.
