Look Out CT, Rain!
In case you haven’t heard today…
Now normally I don’t care about the weather or pay any attention to it. Will I die if I don’t have a coat? No, so who cares? But literally the entire state is under a severe thunderstorm watch tonight, which apparently means you can expect “torrential downpours, gusty winds and hail and vivid cloud-to-ground lightning is also possible.”
Best part about this forecast? It’s probably just a precursor to our inevitable annual hurricane in Connecticut this year. According to multiple news outlets, the hurricane fun hasn’t yet begun. See Gabrielle down there? She’s supposedly not going to bother us (but you know how weather forecasts go…) but it’s Senor Humberto we really need to worry about. Humberto is gaining strength and now has maximum sustained winds of 75 mph, making it a Category 1 hurricane. So get ready Connecticut…he may be coming for you.
