We’re all aware of the epic storms headed our way today. It’s summer – it happens – but the timing is really unfortunate.
Last night, there was an epic geomagnetic storm that allowed Northern Connecticut to see the Aurora Borealis. And that’s not just towns like Woodstock or North Canaan – even people in Bethlehem saw it. Litchfield County will likely have the best view, unless of course it’s localized entirely within your kitchen:
When the storm clouds clear out tonight we should be able to see it again after midnight.
But it won’t be as good of a view as the astronauts have it aboard the International Space Station:
