Oh the sad irony. A 33-year-old West Hartford man was pulled over by Vermont State Police for going 112 miles an hour weaving in and out of traffic in Royalton, VT on Interstate 89. Which by the way is a 65 miles-per-hour zone.
After he was pulled over and charged with excessive speeding (duh) and negligent operation, he told the officers he was on his way to traffic court to pay a speeding ticket. Why wouldn’t you just lie? Speeding at 112 miles an hour to pay an already existing speeding ticket makes you seem like kind of the stupidest person to come out of Connecticut.
I get it – I’m perpetually late to my entire life and am admittedly not the best driver (read: I’m the worst) but come on! Get your shit together unknown man from West Hartford.
