A marine helicopter that was running a routine flight recently was forced to land on a California beach. Luckily no one was hurt, but still a scary situation.

It’s only a matter of time before something this happens in the Stratford/Shelton/Milford area right? With Sikorsky right down the street those choppers are in the air doing these same routines on a daily basis.

The CT BOOM offices are located in Milford and every day I look out my window see one of the Sikorsky choppers doing a test flight and say to myself “one of these days, that thing is gonna land right in this parking lot. Or into my window”

Hopefully that never happens, but it’s one of the unique fears of living in this part of Connecticut.
