If you love pizza and live in or near Milford you know there is no shortage of great places to get a slice/pie. Bella Napoli, Silver Sands Pizza, Colony Grill, GG’s, Jimmy’s Apizza, Papa’s Pizza II. Honestly, that’s just scratching the surface. I’m sure there are plenty more you can yell about in the comments.

Since you can never have enough pizza locations, Milford is getting yet another one in 2019.

The Milford Mirror reports that despite the project taking longer than expected the old firehouse on Melba Street will become a new pizza destination this year. Pizza lover, Marty McCarthy, who owns Fire Engine Pizza Company over on the Black Rock side of Bridgeport is behind the project. He’s been trying to open this Milford location since the firehouse went up for sale back in 2014/2015. Seems like there has been lot of hoops to jump through since then but luckily it sounds like he’s further along than ever now.

I know I’m excited about it. Hopefully everyone else is. Let’s open these firehouse doors and eat these slices!
