There are times when high school sports can be just as competitive as pro sports. Especially when it comes to players transferring to different schools. In the case of Norwalk High School’s latest loss of a star athlete they decided to have some fun with it.
The Bears star wide receiver Izaiah Sanders recently transferred from Norwalk HS to Trinity Catholic where he will play this fall.
In response to the Norwalk’s website decided to “adjust” a photo titled Fall 2015 Leaders which featured Sanders front and center has been to replace Sanders with the team mascot via photoshop.
Bwahahahaha! This might be the greatest thing I’ve ever seen in high school sports. Well played, Norwalk.
Sanders of course caught wind of the prank and immediately responded on Twitter with a “laughing” emoji. At least he has a sense of humor about it all.
