Parents around the United States are expected to spend over 2.6 billion dollars on candy this year, and the CDC is reminding everyone to be aware of what is candy and what isn’t.

They remind  parents to keep their medicines up and out of reach from kids, especially around this time of the year.

Almost 60,000 young children accidentally take medications and end up in the emergency room.

Always be sure to double and triple check the candy that your child gets, and make sure that all medicine is away when counting up the loot!
