This might be the worst decision making Connecticut has seen so far in the year of 2019. The Governor Park & Ciuccoli Field on Governor Street is the home of the Ridgefield High School boys.

The field was pretty soggy from the night before, so the decision was made to light the field on fire.

That’s right. Instead of postponing the game, which would’ve been fine by everyone, officials chose to dump TWENTY FIVE GALLONS of gasoline on the field!

Stunningly, the fire that ensued, made the DEEP come in and investigate what exactly was going through someone’s mind to light a field of grass on fire with enough gasoline to fill the tank of a small aircraft!

We still don’t know! We may never know, but what we do know is this. Don’t do what the folks in Ridgefield did.
