If you were planning on heading to Southington to see the Frozen House you are SOL. Howard Burke, the organizer of the light show, has pulled the plug amid complaints about traffic. He had planned on running the display through January 1st but the ordeal had become too much for him.

While Lights On Lovely was well-received by many some of his outlying neighbors might have had issues with the influx of traffic the display brought to their streets. Southington Police had to utilize a cruiser and a mobile sign in order to help keep the traffic moving. At points the wait to see the display was half an hour.

Do you think this is a case of Scrooges ruining the holiday spirit or is a 50k light display a bit much?
