Selecting which college you hope to attend is never easy, even for the President’s daughter. Malia Obama is in her senior year of high school and has been looking at colleges for the next stage of her education. Two of CT’s top schools have made her short list.
Malia has made stops at both Yale and Wesleyan in her search. Other schools she made the trek to include Berkeley, Stanford, Tufts, University of Pennsylvania, and Brown. Now, I can’t speak to the quality of any of these schools as I attended a much lower caliber of university but I can list some of the advantages of coming to CT. There’s our amazing pizza! Beautiful scenery. Close proximity to NYC and Boston. Pez!
Since I am entirely selfish I would ask Malia not to attend school in CT. Not for any political reasons; I just don’t want to have to deal with the traffic when her family comes to visit. Our roadways are already overcrowded and a weekend stop will only make it worse. I strongly suggest University of Pennsylvania. It is closer to DC if she wants to go home for a weekend and Philly could use some class. It is terrible, awful place.
