There are only so many places in the world where you can watch an IMAX movie, see a variety of different dragons, and visit with some river otters that will make you “awww” so hard that you might just pull a muscle.

Thankfully, one of those places is right down the road at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, where you’ll find all of that and more.

Want to pet a shark or a sting ray? You can do that at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk.

Want to watch sea turtles playing soccer? You can do that at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk.

Want to see harbor seals splashing around in their pool? You can do that at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk.

Or maybe you really just can’t stop thinking about those dragons!? Like seriously, dragons are real and The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk has a ton of them and why are you not there yet? Just look at this animal.

The point is, whatever you’re looking for, you can probably find it at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk. With more than 30 exhibits and over 1,200 animals from 259 species, you’ll have a hard time walking out without a great picture or a breathtaking story to tell your friends.

In fact, if you really can’t get enough (and let’s face it, that will probably be the case), talk to one of their friendly staff members about their programs and events. They’ve got everything from educational cruises and teacher development days to birthday parties and sleepovers.

The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk truly is a world of limitless possibilities. Maybe you can’t make it down their right this instant, but you’ve probably got some free time soon. So in the mean time, I’ll just leave this Meerkat Webcam right here as a constant, adorable reminder of what you’re missing.
