After months of battling back and forth between the Toyota Oakdale Theatre and the residents of Wallingford everyone has finally come to an agreement.
WALLINGFORD >> Planning and zoning officials in Connecticut have approved changes made to the Toyota Oakdale Theatre’s town permit that could make it easier for the venue to abide by noise rules.
The Wallingford commission unanimously voted Monday to allow dome shows, but events cannot happen in the dome and the main theater at the same time.
A provision in the permit that banned outside noise during shows was removed. Instead, the theater must adhere to a 100-decibel limit on shows anywhere within the building.
The commission also set an 11:30 p.m. curfew for shows from Sunday to Thursday, and no later than midnight on Friday and Saturday.
The show will go on! Here’s some of the best shows coming up…
