The Yard Goats just keep throwing fast balls. Every move they make better than the last. And their inaugural season hasn’t even started yet!
Their latest high heat fastball being the much anticipated unveiling of their mascots who will be entertaining us during the games come spring 2016. Yes “mascots”, plural. There are two of them named Chompers and Chew Chew.

These two might be the best mascots in the country never mind just Connecticut. The Yard Goats have just put a face on the state of Connecticut that I hope sticks for years to come. I’m serious. Whenever anyone think of our state I want Chompers and Chew Chew’s giant blue and green smiles to pop in their heads.
