Actually… there is! Fenway Farms is what this beautiful rooftop garden is called at the home of the Red Sox, Fenway Park in Boston. And I’m not just talking about a garden with a couple of roses in it (although that is impressive as well), Fenway Farms has actual vegetables growing in it, which are used in some local restaurants and Yawkey Way food stands.
This whole concept is SO cool! I love the trend of rooftop gardening in urban spaces and, from what I’ve heard, it seems like a lot of people are into it as well.
The Fenway Farms are also visible from some points in the park, so imagine watching the Red Sox play while looking over and seeing a huge, beautiful garden.
I dig it (pun intended).
