The demise of print media has been predicted for a while now but the papers are still chugging along. Most likely due to enthusiastic readers like Richard Walzak. Richard was on his front porch in Fairfield, hanging out in his robe, waiting for his paper to be delivered. The prospect of fresh newsprint and being informed must have been too much for the poor guy to handle because the paper carrier called the cops on Richie for making a delivery of his own.
The carrier told cops that Richard exposed himself and began to play a one-man-game. The driver also said this wasn’t the first time this had happened! She said this was the fifth time she had seen him do this! I know I used to get excited to read the latest Calvin & Hobbes but never that excited.
Richard was charged with public indecency and second-degree breach of peace and released on a $2,500 bond. No word on if his subscription has been canceled.
