March Madness is about to get very exciting here in Connecticut. Specifically the New Haven area. Over the weekend the Bulldogs of Yale managed to clinch their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1962. Ending a 54-year drought for the Ivy league school.

Yale’s tourney ticket was punched Saturday night when they defeated Columbia 77-55 on their home court to win the Ivy League title along with an invite to the big dance.

We are in for an exciting month of basketball hype in New Haven around the Yale campus over the next few weeks. Then if the Bulldogs actually make it past the first round of the tournament… get a helmet.
