Well now I know what I need for my office…
Like many Connecticut residents, I spend a lot of time on the road. A lot. My commute is generally over an hour, and that’s without traffic. Shuffling between Fairfield and Hartford County several days a week, I’m intimately familiar with 95, the Merritt Parkway, the Wilbur Cross, I-91, and I-84 on a daily basis. But I don’t complain – I mean, it’s not like it’s the New Jersey Turnpike.
But let’s face facts – we know that we don’t have the most scenic roadways (unless it’s Fall), and we know that we’re not a great state for road trips (there’s only so many times we can answer with “Mystic” and only that). But it’s our state.
So, that’s why I do think this poster is pretty awesome:
Boston-based Fathom put these together for every single state, and not only can you buy the one for Connecticut here, but all proceeds go to charity.
