There have been rumors swirling for months now that Tom Brady, quarterback for the New England Patriots, and his wife Giselle were looking at homes for their family in the Tri-State area. Including Southern Connecticut. Now, according to Boston sports radio station WEEI, the Brady’s have purchased a stone mansion in Greenwich, CT.
This has to be good news for the Connecticut economy, right? We lose a few big businesses, but then we get the greatest quarterback of all time as a new resident. The taxes alone on that mansion have to be insane.
While there is no real timeline of when The Brady’s would actually move to their new Greenwich home just the news alone has naturally sent Patriots fans into a frenzy over Tom’s future. There’s enough theories to make your head spin.
“This definitely means he’s retiring so Gisele can do rich model things in NYC!” (Maybe)
“Wait, does this mean he’s going to the Giants?! I thought they loved Danny Dimes?!” (No, it doesn’t)
“Maybe he’s the Ghostbuster the Jets need to finally put Sam Darnold out of his misery!” (not likely. Poor Jets)
In reality The Brady’s have owned multiple homes around the country for years now and this is likely just another mansion in their empire. Though, it is exciting that you could be shopping on Greenwich Avenue or strolling through Cos Cob and see Tom, Gisele, and their kids settling into their new Connecticut lives.
FYI Tom, the good pizza is in New Haven.
