If you live in Connecticut, when the leaves start to fall and the air starts to get colder, it can only mean one thing. UConn basketball is back.
It all kicks off for the women, the most dominate force this state has ever seen, against Vanguard University in an exhibition game on Sunday November 4th at 1 p.m. at Gampel. The Huskies host their regular season home opener on Sunday November 11th against Ohio State at noon at Gampel, which will honor Associate Head Coach Chris Dailey, who was inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame over the summer.
The men, looking to rebound with new coach Dan Hurley, who took Rhode Island from the depths to the NCAA twice in six years, get it started at home with an exhibition game Friday November 2nd hosting Southern Connecticut State University at 7 p.m. at Gampel, honoring Scott Burrell, the newest member of the Huskies of Honor and current head coach of the Owls. Fans can share in the excitement and say #HelloHurley in the first regular season game Thursday, November 8 when the Huskies tip off with Morehead State University at 7 p.m. at Gampel.
The Huskies announced an all-new flex pack voucher as an affordable and flexible single game ticket option this season. Flex pack vouchers provide ultimate flexibility by allowing fans to redeem vouchers for tickets to either men’s or women’s basketball for games at either the XL Center in Hartford or Gampel Pavilion on campus in Storrs. Flex pack vouchers are just $15 per game, more information can be found at UConnHuskies.com.
