This morning, we woke to the very sad news that music lost one of the absolute greats – David Bowie died after suffering an 18 month battle with cancer.

Since the advent of smart phones with amazing zooming cameras and audio quality, we’ve been spoiled with footage from any concert over the last few years. Unfortunately a heart attack in the early 2000s put an end to his touring and he had not been to Connecticut since 2004.

But there is some historic, vintage footage from when he came through Connecticut in the ’70s…

July 14, 1974 – the New Haven Coliseum as part of the Diamond Dogs tour. Someone brought an 8MM camera and was able to sync the audio to this overview of David from that show – including Rebel Rebel, Suffragette City, All The Young Dudes, and much more!
