I admit that the headline is a little misleading – it’s not Hartford per se; rather it’s Hartford, the nuclear submarine.

There is something just so satisfying watching this video of the Los Angeles-class USS Hartford (SSN-768) emerging from the Arctic Circle, beneath several fee of solid ice. And it’s really a perfect break:

I love how they still had to use a roof rake in order to get out of the sub. And we complained about the storm we had yesterday.
